The Heightec PIRANHA Adjustable Lanyard with Safety Hook Connector is a compact and precise work positioning device designed for use on masts, towers, pylons, and other lattice structures—making it ideal for workers in the telecoms, power, and entertainment industries.

The PIRANHA features a smooth, gradual adjustment mechanism that allows one-handed operation for both taking in and paying out rope, even while wearing gloves. This enables precise positioning during work tasks, enhancing control and safety.

The lanyard includes a protective rope sleeve that guards against abrasion, sharp edges, and contamination, while adhesive heat shrink on the terminations preserves the integrity of the ID label. Certain models are equipped with screwlinks to reduce the risk of side or cross loading and offer semi-permanent attachment options.

Replacement ropes are available and can be changed easily by the user with just a screwdriver.

Note: When used for positioning, an additional fall protection system must always be used, and equipment should be placed to minimize potential fall distance.
