Product Description

The QUANTUM is an advanced rope access back-up device designed to arrest a two-person fall without damaging the rope—even on older, dirty, or worn ropes. Unlike traditional single-point cam devices, the QUANTUM features a patented dual-point cam grip, distributing load across two rope contact points. This innovation prevents rope sheath damage, eliminates the need for a separate energy absorber, and ensures exceptional fall arrest performance with minimal slippage.

The integrated opening catch allows for rope insertion or removal without detaching the device from the lanyard—reducing the risk of dropped objects during rope transitions and simplifying operation during mid-rope manoeuvres.

Constructed from high-strength alloy with stainless steel friction surfaces, the QUANTUM delivers durability, consistent performance, and long service life. All internal components are fully visible, making inspection, cleaning, and maintenance straightforward.

Rated for use with lanyards up to 0.45 m (fall factor 2) or 0.9 m (fall factor 1), the QUANTUM is suitable for two-person rescue and requires no additional shock absorber, making it a reliable and compact solution for demanding rope access and rescue operations.
