The POWERLOCK is a high-specification tower rescue and evacuation descender designed for two-person loads and ideal for pick-off rescues and emergency evacuations. This sophisticated device combines precise descent control, double-action safety, and lightweight durability to provide rescue professionals with the confidence and functionality needed during critical operations at height.
Its patented secondary braking system allows for increased force application and offers a built-in dampening effect when the braking cam is released—ensuring smoother, safer control. The device has an extremely fine “Go” position, enabling controlled movement and reducing risk during descent.
With the ability to reverse the tail rope through the device, the POWERLOCK can be moved back up an unloaded rope—adding further flexibility in complex rescue scenarios. Constructed from anodised aluminium, the device is lightweight, scratch-resistant, and designed for quick inspection and intuitive operation.
