The RescuePack is an award-winning, self-contained fall arrest rescue system designed to provide rapid, safe, and effective recovery of a suspended worker following a fall. It is one of the simplest and most versatile rescue solutions available, capable of performing both lifting and lowering operations with minimal setup, making it ideal for use in a wide range of fall protection scenarios.

Developed for ease of use by non-experts in high-pressure environments, the system allows the rescuer to operate without becoming part of the rescue system. It is particularly effective in confined spaces and does not require anchor points to be in specific positions, increasing deployment flexibility on complex job sites.

The RescuePack incorporates advanced components such as the HURRICANE pulley mechanism and the QUADRA rescue device, both designed to offer intuitive operation, mechanical advantage, and high reliability in demanding conditions.

• Versatile Rescue Capabilities
  Allows for both lifting and lowering of a casualty, making it suitable for use with virtually any fall protection system. The hook can be attached directly to a D-ring or shoulder strap on the casualty’s harness.

• Mechanical Advantage via HURRICANE Pulley
  Delivers a 3:1 lifting ratio, significantly reducing effort required during casualty recovery. The patented HURRICANE mechanism can be attached at any point along the rope, even under load, and is the only system of its kind to offer intuitive, mid-line assembly for rapid deployment.

• QUADRA Multi-Function Rescue Device
  A versatile rope device offering four distinct functions:

  • Life-lining: Controls a safety line for a rescuer

  • Lowering: Remotely controls descent of a load

  • Hauling: Enables self-locking load raising

  • Descending: Allows operator-controlled descent

• Smooth, Controlled Connection
  The modified scaffold hook features a specially shaped gate that reduces snagging and ensures secure attachment to the casualty, even on extended energy-absorbing lanyards. A telescopic rescue pole extends up to 3.5 metres to allow safe connection from a distance.

• Efficient Rope Usage
  The system is designed to use up to 75% less rope than competing rescue systems by allowing the lifting mechanism to be positioned remotely from the casualty, reducing gear bulk and simplifying logistics.

  Weighing only 7.2 kg, the RescuePack is easy to transport, store, and deploy. Supplied in a durable KARI 50 transport bag, offering 50 litres of capacity and a working load limit of 18 kg.
